The Face Shop • Real Blend Cleansing Oil in Rich

Quick review of The Face Shop's Real Blend Cleansing Oil as I couldn't find any others. I've been using this for about a month now and I really like it! I'm a big fan of Shu Uemura's cleansing oils, especially the green A/O one and the results from this are very similar.

The bottle is gorgeous! I love the dried flowers. They add nothing to the formula but look very pretty. It has an old apothecary vibe similar to Neal's Yard and Skinfood. One pump is just the right amount and it comes with a little clip to stop the pump being pressed accidentally making it more travel friendly than other OCs.

I have very dry skin so I bought the rich version and this doesn't dry it out at all. I've strayed from Shu a few times and I've always found others drying. This doesn't leave my face feeling stripped or tight. It emulsifies and removes easily but does leave a slight film that may bother some people but I quite like it.

I don't wear heavy make-up (mostly just blusher, lip colour and a little bit of powder) so I don't know how well it fairs removing heavy skin make up or waterproof eye make-up. But it works great a cleanser for taking off the day, if you know what I mean.

Ingredients List

I bought this from RoseRoseShop at ₩14,400, about £8 for 225ml. It usually retails at ₩18,000, about £10.
